Project Manager

Project Managers perform many of the same functions as an Implementation Manager with increased responsibility as a primary architect of the solution, providing some account management functions to larger clients and managing project teams. The Project Manager provides critical business expertise in the completion of projects, leverages project management techniques and provides a leadership role in the organization.

This position requires proficiency with certain ScerIS software products and technologies. These skills can be attained through attendance at ScerIS University (http://sceris.com/about-sceris-university.htm) or through experience as a ScerIS Implementation Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary contact between the client and ScerIS on projects assigned
  • Perform business and technical analysis as required. Influence and negotiate scope and requirements with clients to arrive at a common solution that is the best fit with the technology possibilities and will create the most value for the client
  • Create project plans, statements of work and other project documentation
  • Ensure successful delivery of projects on time, on budget and meeting client expectation
  • Keep management informed of project activities and deliverables, as well as risks and mitigation strategies
  • Manage project change control processes
  • Mentor other team members, foster knowledge sharing to increase the overall application management, business analysis, and project management skills of the team
  • Assist in, lead or be a significant contributor in discovery calls, solution demonstrations and other pre-sales related activities

Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with business analysis and requirement gathering
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing projects using formal project management and tracking techniques
  • Experience in managing customer expectations and being able to effectively negotiate priorities and delivery schedules
  • Demonstrate a high degree of ownership, accountability, and pride in delivering quality results
  • Strong management, project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience as a ScerIS Implementation Manager or equivalent experience
  • Formal project management training or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel up to 40% (with overnight required)

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Business Management, Computer Science or related field
  • Completion of ScerIS University
