The Software Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for developing test strategies, for manual and automated test plans and test cases, and advancing to the testing of Web, Client/Server and other applications, written in C# code, in an ASP.Net framework.

Job Responsibilities:

· Experience in Software Quality Assurance (5+ years), developing test strategies, manual and automated test plans and test cases

· Software testing of n-tier web applications, with at least one product built on a .NET platform.

· A solid understanding of QA practice and procedures, with Microsoft SQL and experience configuring and/or building test data in MSSQL using SQL scripting is required.

· Solid problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills, to resolve defects with the development team.

· Silk Test automated test tool experience.

· Understanding of C #, .Net, C++, JavaScript, VBScript, HTML and XML and understand architectural impacts based on product design.

· Excellent writing skills are a must.

 

Required Skills:

· SQA test design and development experience using Silk Test.

· SQA experience testing software applications in .net) and C#.

· Source Code Control (Visual Source Safe).

 · Bug tracking skills with (Radar, Fogbugz etc).

 · Excellent written and oral communications skills.

 · BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline required or ASQ CSQE certification.
