Solutions Engineer / Systems Analyst I

Solutions Engineers / Systems Analysts I is an entry level position that provides the foundation, training and hands on experience to move into the Solutions Engineer / Systems Analyst I role at ScerIS.  Working as part of a team, you will create and deploy solutions that leverage ScerIS imaging, electronic forms, workflow and automated data capture to increase the efficiencies of business processes.  You will also be working with many Microsoft technologies including SQL, VB.NET, Reporting Services, Analysis Services and Server operating systems.  Solution Engineer / Systems Analysts II work with clients to solidify business requirements install and configure ScerIS software and provide technical support.  This position requires a blend of business analysis, technical ability and excellent customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify business and technical requirements through interviews, research and prior experiences
  • Analyze current business processes and makes recommendations on change
  • Install, troubleshoot and configure ScerIS Solutions on Windows 2003/2008 servers
  • Create Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 queries and stored procedures
  • Research new technologies and implement them to solve technical problems
  • Troubleshoot client issues and follow through to completion, while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction
  • Work on multiple projects or client issues simultaneously
  • Be a subject matter expert on ScerIS software applications and solutions

Requirements

  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills, including the ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
  • A strong desire to innovate and problem solve on a technical and non-technical level
  • A passion to work with technology
  • A desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (with some overnight travel required)
  • Experience writing and executing Microsoft SQL Queries is a plus
  • Experience with programming with .NET technologies is a plus
  • Able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
