Position Profile:
Responsible for achieving revenue and margin targets in an assigned geographic location. The work involves prospecting, face to face meetings, proposal development and the presentation of solutions and services offered to each account. Your ability to “close the sale” with the customer is key. The target market is all organizations who seek to improve work processes that are typically negatively impacted by paper based processes or because of extensive data capture and data management requirements.
The Account Executive, in addition to their assigned geographic territory is dedicated to supporting selected accounts in business, healthcare and government markets, with the responsibility to protect and increase market share. The primary focus is to serve as a resource to client accounts with the purpose of initially driving solution opportunities or outsourcing contracts that provide ScerIS with the opportunity to integrate solutions across all business lines. The AE is to serve as a resource to client accounts with the purpose of helping them identify ways in which they can leverage and expand upon ScerIS capabilities throughout their organization.
Job Duties and Responsibilities.
· Owns & directs relationship with the account and serves as the account’s advocate.
· Serves as a Business Expert to the account, aids in the identification of opportunities targeted process improvement or optimization, either through the implementation of company technologies or outsource service capabilities.
· Utilizes background & experience to understand client’s business to identify opportunities that represent improvements in business processes that can be achieved with certain technologies (document imaging, workflow, automated data capture, etc.).
· Performs analyses of customer's business processes and directs the development of benchmark demonstrations, proposals and value propositions.
· Applies a consultative approach to C-level contacts as well as department heads.
· Proactively develops new customer contacts, reviews leads, participates in customers' strategic planning and delivers management services proposals and management services studies as prescribed by sales management.
· Meets or exceeds sales revenue targets, while maintaining gross profit expectations.
· Maintains accurate records of all work activity and account activity within the corporate CRM, on a daily basis.
· Actively participates in account planning sessions and plans and consults within a team-based work environment to ensure the identification of sales opportunities.
· Meets forecasting objectives
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience).
· 4-year college degree in business, management or accounting. MBA preferred.
· At least 2 years successful sales experience including business-to-business sales experience, preferably with business application solutions (examples of which include: accounting applications, ERP, content management, workflow, business process automation, document imaging, portals, data interchange, etc.) or outsourcing account management (including facilities management contracts) and account development experience to Fortune 500 companies.
