Consultants Laboratory Partnered With ScerIS, Inc.
Integrations of Soft LIS with ScerIS Enterprise Report Management (ERM)
Sudbury, MA, 23 April 2007 - ScerIS announces a successful integration between the Soft LIS system and ScerIS applications at Consultants Laboratory of Wisconsin.
The ScerIS Enterprise Report Management (ERM) and ScerIS Imaging capabilities were added to the Soft systems used by Consultants Lab. An open database connectivity (ODBC) link was used to integrate the two systems for more efficient storage and recall processes.
The newly enhanced system now accesses a centralized location for information, despite its origin as electronic or physical documents. Using barcodes, scanned documents are automatically indexed with patient, doctor and requisition information.
A truly seamless integration, users can retrieve documents from within the Soft applications, without ever leaving that electronic environment. With the use of user-defined hotkeys, ScerIS utilizes a browser window to access images of documents.
The project manager from Consultants Laboratory, Debbie Christian, commented, “I have never worked on an implementation that went as well as this one.
