As cybercrime continues to rise across industries, a recent survey of over 200 healthcare IT security decision makers cited their own healthcare IT networks as the most prominent vulnerabilities in their healthcare organizations. Nearly half of respondents to the same survey felt that operational downtime is the most common impact of a cyberattack, followed closely by compromised customer (i.e. patient) data.
