Software Licensing
ScerIS offers several flexible software use alternatives including Perpetual License, Subscription and Software as a Service (SaaS).
When selecting one or more modules of the ETCETERA® (ETC) Platform you have a number of pricing alternatives available. Typically, the selection of one alternative over another is about: reducing up-front costs, lowering your total cost of ownership, increasing your total value of ownership, maximizing cash flow, exercising maximum control of the business applications implemented, integration with existing ERP and other core systems, integration with Active Directory or minimizing IT involvement.
A Perpetual License to use ETCETERA® (ETC) is available. This license can be purchased or leased. Installation of a perpetual license is usually on the customer’s infrastructure, customer’s private cloud or on the ScerIS Hybrid or Private clouds. Perpetual software licenses are available based on concurrent users or named users at the customer’s discretion. Note: Any use of ScerIS applications in the ScerIS Hybrid or Private clouds provides a 10% discount off standard IaaS/PaaS prices.
A Subscription to use ETCETERA® (ETC) is available. A software subscription is available monthly or on an annual pre-pay basis. Subscriptions are installed on the customer’s infrastructure, customer’s private cloud or on the ScerIS Hybrid or Private clouds. Subscriptions are available based on concurrent users or named users at the customer’s discretion. Note: Any use of ScerIS applications in the ScerIS Hybrid or Private clouds provides a 10% discount off standard IaaS/PaaS prices.
Software as a Service is available in the ETC® Multi-Tenant Cloud. Services are provided based on a monthly access fee based on Named Users. In this environment, ETCETERA® ECM software, scanner interface licenses, database licenses, server hardware, object storage, communications connectivity, communications encryption and system back-ups are included in the simple monthly fee. Managing users, user permissions, accessing databases for custom reports or setting up custom integration is performed with you by your ScerIS virtual resource. In this environment customers have unlimited transactions. Monthly fees are simply based on Named Users.
